Passwords are a tricky situation, we need them for all our accounts, but it becomes so difficult, when there are so many different accounts with different passwords.
We are going to go over a few tips and pointers for passwords, creating and remembering passwords.
One of the first problems is coming up with the password, often the website will tell you that you need to include capital letters, or numerals in your password, or that they must be a certain length.
One of the best ways to make a password secure, is to use a range of words strung together, that will make sense to you but can not easily be guessed by others.
It is not recommended that you use the same password for all your accounts, if one is hacked, then the others will follow easily.
If you must write your passwords down then you should keep them far away from your devices, and possibly even write down your passwords and corresponding accounts in a way that is not easy to decipher.
It might be helpful to have a system in place that helps you remember your password, maybe one of the words could something of meaning that can change every time, perhaps if you are a teacher the name of a student in your class, and you can change through the students, you could then add a word or two, or lucky number that you can change with every password.
It is important to keep your passwords a secret and to make sure you change them regularly.
If you are very concerned then do not let your computer remember your passwords, this also forces you to use your passwords regularly and helps you to not forget them
It is also important to check that if you are using a public computer that it does not remember your password and that you always log out after using your accounts.
